Our friends at Kung Fu Accounting pledged to donate a bag to a child in care every time they file a personal tax return.
For founder, Scott, children in care is a cause very close to his heart.
“Having seen first hand the situations some children find themselves in through no fault of their own, we wanted to do something to help.
“As an accounting company, options to get involved were somewhat limited, so we tried to think about the bigger picture. If we couldn't directly help using our skills and experience, what could we do?
“With a little thought and a bit of research into the Gift a Bag scheme, we built an internal process into our business model.
“To date, we have given 113 bags to children moving through the care system.”
